Behavioral Psychology

It can be so hard to find a psychologist, especially one that works with children with developmental delays. As a parent you are tirelessly searching for strategies that fit your child’s unique needs. You feel exhausted and want to know how to best respond to your child’s challenging behaviors and keep them safe.

Hi, I’m Dr. Schroeder, and I am a Licensed Psychologist (#12497106-2501) that provides  family therapy in Draper, Utah. I specialize in working with children with a variety of neurodevelopment disorders – including Autism, ADHD, Developmental Delay, Learning Disability, and Down Syndrome – and I use behavioral family therapy to train parents on decreasing challenging behaviors. I want to make your child’s difficult behaviors more manageable and for you to feel confident in your parenting.

If you are ready to better understand your child and their unique needs, contact me for a free 15-minute phone consultation at 801-613-9184 or click here to discover how therapy can make a difference in not only your child but your family as a whole.

Family Therapy Draper, Utah

I believe:

Caregivers are the driving force of change. You know your child best, and by working together to support your child we can make the most change.

Seeing change starts with setting realistic goals. In session we will figure out what is going on and track your child's  behavior over time to determine if goals are being reached.

True behavior change does not happen overnight. By practicing the recommendations in session and at home, and being consistent over time, you can effectively see behavior change.

Every child is unique. What works for one may not work for another, so all recommendations are tailored to meet you and your child where you are.
